Fein Games GmbH Privacy Policy
Fein Games GmbH (“Fein Games“, “us”, “we”) provides games and related services that can be used alone, or with friends. At Fein Games GmbH, we are committed to protecting and respecting Users’ (“you”, “your”) privacy, in line with data protection laws. In this document, we explain what information we collect, how and when we use it, how and when we share it, where we store it and the security practices we use to look after it. Game related user data
By downloading our game, you allow us to collect and use your gaming related player data (e.g. player name/ID, level, results, achievements, rewards) for staging the game; in other words, to offer you a safe, smooth, efficient and customised gaming experience. We will use this gaming related player data for technical and communicative setup, and for our games to be further developed. We do not collect any personal data about you, i.e. we don’t collect or store any personal information that would allow us to identify you as an individual. We care about offering you a fun gaming experience and for this, we require no personal data to be disclosed.

Our websites
Every time you access our websites, that communication automatically generates data (system log files). We do this to obtain technical and statistical information for rectifying faults or improving the website, or for doing research and analysis. This data cannot link to a particular user. Our websites also use “cookies” (session IDs) which can be saved temporarily or permanently on your computer by the browser. You are free to decide whether to let your browser use cookies: all browser programs allow cookies to be deactivated or deleted.

Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or give your data to third parties, with the following exceptions: (1) If we need to in order to provide a product or service you have requested, (2) If you have explicitly given us permission to do so, (3) If we are responding to a court order, or legal process; if we have to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities; or if we are acquired by or merged with another company. (In this case, we will notify you before any information is shared and becomes subject to a different privacy policy).

Storing your information and our security practices
We will only store your information as long as it is necessary for us to make our game(s) available to you. This means that if you choose to remove our game from your phone, essential data will be blocked for an appropriate processing period, and any optional information other than that will be erased. We use standard security practices, including strong passwords and physical security measures, to protect Fein Games servers and system access from from unauthorised access and disclosure. While we follow industry best-practices for system security, we cannot be held responsible for any security incidents beyond our control.

Your privacy rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data we process:

  • The right to request access to personal data about yourself;

  • The right to request rectification, restriction or erasure of your personal data. However, certain information is strictly necessary in order to fulfil the purposes defined in this Privacy Notice and may also be required by law. Thus, it may not be possible to remove such personal data.

  • The right to object to the processing, that is based on legitimate interest;

  • The right to object to processing for marketing purposes and decline from receiving future direct marketing;

  • If processing of personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. The withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal; and

  • The right to data portability, i.e. right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format and transmit the personal data to another data controller, to the extent required by applicable law. This applies for personal data processed based on contract or your consent.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by appropriate means. The new terms may be displayed on-screen and you may be required to read and accept them to continue your use of our game(s) and/or the related services. No changes of the privacy policy that enhances our use of your personal information will become valid without your approval. However, lacking such approval, your use of the Services may be limited.
